Description

Chicken Afghani is a popular North Indian and Mughlai-style dish inspired by Afghan flavors. It features tender chicken marinated in a luxurious blend of yogurt, cream, cashew paste, and subtle spices, then grilled or roasted to perfection. The result is a rich, smoky, and creamy chicken delight, often served with mint chutney or naan. Unlike spicier Indian curries, this dish is milder and focuses on creaminess and aroma, making it a favorite for those who enjoy subtle yet indulgent flavors.

Chicken Afghani takes its cues from Afghan cuisine, which emphasizes subtle spices, rich marinades, and grilled meats. Over time, it gained immense popularity in North Indian tandoori cuisine and is now a restaurant favorite across India and beyond.
